SHOUFLUENCE is a Singapore-based creator marketing agency that provides influencer marketing, creator partnerships, campaign management, content production, digital marketing, and related technology services for brands across Southeast Asia and Greater China. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and how to control it.

2. Information We Collect

When you apply through this site:

• Brand applications (/apply/brand): name, email, company/brand name, region, the type of help requested, and campaign details you write in.
• Creator applications (/apply/creator): name, email, region, and any social profile links you choose to share (WhatsApp, TikTok, Xiaohongshu, Instagram, LinkedIn).

If we go on to work together, we may also collect:

• From creators: media kits, portfolios, follower statistics, content samples, and payment details for compensation.
• From brands: campaign briefs, budget ranges, target market details, brand assets, and the contact person for a campaign.

Automatically, via this site:

• We use Google Analytics (Google tag / gtag.js) to collect usage data such as pages viewed, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from IP address.

3. How We Communicate With You

We may communicate with you through email, WhatsApp, WeChat, LinkedIn, Instagram, phone calls, or other channels you provide, particularly during creator recruitment and campaign management.

4. How We Use Information

• To evaluate applications and match brands with creators for campaigns.
• To manage campaigns, process payments, and prepare reporting.
• To respond to inquiries and provide customer support.
• To communicate about campaigns, opportunities, or account status if you're accepted as a brand partner or creator.
• To understand site usage and improve it, via aggregated analytics.
• To meet legal, compliance, and fraud-prevention obligations.

5. Legal Basis for Processing

We process personal information where we have your consent, where it's necessary to perform a contract with you, to comply with a legal obligation, or for our legitimate business interests (such as evaluating applications and running our agency).

6. Who We Share It With

We use trusted third-party service providers to run our business, including cloud hosting and application storage (currently Supabase), analytics (Google), email services, CRM platforms, payment processors, scheduling tools, and communication platforms. We do not sell personal data. We may share application details with a brand or creator you're being matched with, only as needed to run a campaign you've applied for.

7. International Data Transfers

Because we operate across Singapore, Southeast Asia, and Greater China, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your country of residence where our service providers or partners operate. We take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for these transfers.

8. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. Data Retention

We generally retain application records for up to 24 months after our last communication with you, unless a longer retention period is required by law or for ongoing business purposes (for example, active or recurring campaign relationships).

10. Your Rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, or withdraw consent for future contact, by emailing legal@shoufluence.com. As a Singapore-based company, we handle these requests in line with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), including your rights to access, correction, and withdrawal of consent under applicable law.

11. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to understand website usage, improve user experience, remember preferences, and measure marketing effectiveness. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; doing so won't affect your ability to submit application forms.

12. Marketing Communications

You may unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time. Transactional communications relating to campaigns or an ongoing business relationship may still be sent where necessary.

13. Business Transfers

If SHOUFLUENCE is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the protections in this policy.

14. Future Products

This Privacy Policy also applies to any online platforms, software tools, dashboards, or digital services operated by SHOUFLUENCE, unless a separate privacy policy is provided for that product.

15. Children's Privacy

This site is intended for brands and creators old enough to enter a business relationship and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our services or data practices change. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
